It's always an exciting time when a couple get in touch for the first time. And it was no different with Cass. I had actually met this lovely lady at The National Wedding Show in October 2017, at London's ExCel centre. When she mentioned that she would be getting married at The Horniman Museum, I think I let out an internal squeal...it is such an amazing venue!
Cass and John had already booked Worm to provide their wedding flowers, so we focused on the mood boards that they had provided. The couple went for a bespoke concertina invite, which included palm fronds, anthurium and king protea for a modern feel. I utilised a dark green colour for the text. Cass had a very clear vision of what she wanted, which was great as her direction was super efficient.
I think we can all agree than the final results of the day were just stunning...so classic and elegant, with a super modern twist! It was so lovely working with Cass & John, and I wish them both a very bright and happy future together!
What I created:
- Concertina Folded Invites: with modern flowing floral wreaths with an emphasis on the two standout flowers.
- Table Plan: with matching florals, which worked seamlessly with the rest of the wedding styling.
