Real Wedding: Megan & Tex

As weddings go, Megan & Tex's Queensland shindig was a dream. From the moment they got in touch with me, I knew I had to book this beautiful couple: especially when the brief was to unify USA western vibes with cool, Aussie styling; after all the groom is a Texan native (Tex, Texas, ya feel me), and the bride is a boho Queensland princess. Totally up my alley! I had a feeling that their wedding would be beautifully styled with the flower arrangements of my dreams, and boy was that feeling right! Work began on Tex & Megan's wedding in 2018, with their wedding invitations. We decided to incorporate a cow skull, a cactus and a watercolour cowboy boot motif to hark to the wild, wild west, and...

Working on a Wild Ones Community shoot

Every industry has its major players. Every small business has its goals. For this small, home-run business, working on a Wild Ones Community shoot was definitely a goal. A dream to be realised, and a badge of pride to be earned.  When Nicola Dixon's message hit my inbox on Instagram, I was shook. When boho weddings are your livelihood, the opportunity to be involved in a behemoth boho bridal portfolio builder (say that twice as fast), is literally what dreams are made of. But so this doesn't turn into a dissertation about paper, I thought I would compile my top five reasons why quality stationery for your wedding is a meaningful investment.  1. Stationery is something you can both get involved with As with any wedding there are decisions...

Real Wedding: Danielle & James

I am so incredibly lucky when it comes to my couples. With the style of stationery I create, they are always super laidback, love a good ol' knees up and of course, have an affinity for beautifully designed paper. Being so integral to a couples big day is something I don't ever take lightly...sure, stationery is a small component, but quite often, it generates further ideas for styling and couples do garner a lot of inspiration from the creation of their invites.  This was the case for the lovely Danielle and her new husband, James... "Your invite design became the inspiration for all the florals from the bouquets to the arch we created.  I just wanted to say thank you for...

Wedding invitation wording...how to?!

One of the things my couples ask me time and time again is how to word their invites. There really are no hard and fast rules this day in age; it's all a matter of preference to be honest...and also, how traditional your wedding, or your family, are. There are some points you may wish to consider, and these all really boil down to whether you or your families are hosting/paying for the wedding itself. Traditionally, either one set or both parents would host, but it is more commonplace these days for the couple to host.  If the brides parents are hosting the wedding, it is commonplace to leave off the brides surname and include the grooms full name: Mr....
