Nestled in-between two world-famous wine regions, the Adelaide Hills and the Barossa Valley, is Al Ru Farm; a picturesque, family-run wedding and events venue, and European-country style garden. It's one of the more unique wedding venues Adelaide has to offer...with secluded and sectioned-off gardens in differing styles.
The venue and gardens served as our backdrop for this gorgeous, European-inspired styled shoot, nicknamed Il Dolce Amore by shoot coordinators and photographers Jaz Anderson and Richelle Casson. I was thrilled to style and create the stationery for this editorial photoshoot, with Anna of Petal Paramount as my wing-woman, Laura from Minty Mary Pea provided the most beautiful rustic hire, which I paired with statement styling pieces from my own collection, and that of Emily's from Memory Lane. We lent gowns from Paolo Sebastian, and out beautiful wedding cake was created by The Cakeup Artist.
For the paper elements, I chose a combination of nude, stone and light-moss toned card-stocks by Gmund. I wanted to create a design which was super modern and minimalistic but also classic; something which couples who see this suite could really picture having themselves for their own wedding. I loved incorporating a quote from Lord Tennyson into the invitation design, to really embody the surrounding gardens of the venue, Al Ru Farm.
I hope this shoot brings you as much joy as it does me...
