When Maddie from Amara Collective reached out to me to get involved with this styled wedding elopement photoshoot in Denver, Colorado...well, I couldn't say no! Combining creamy tones with pops of lilac and terracotta, the colour palette was a wedding stationery designers dream! And I am always up for a styled shoot with a new and stylish team.
The vibe was very city chic, with our bridal model wearing a cute minidress with bow detail, and our groom wearing a stylish cream suit jacket with black trousers. A beautiful bouquet and hairpiece were created by Skyvanah & Co at RLY RLY Studio, combining beautiful tan, cream and pale lilac tones to complement the overall palette. As the couple moved throughout the city from the Denver County Courthouse, taking in the sites and creating their own brand of romanticism, photographer Annika Stacey followed them with her trusty camera in hand.
For the stationery, I wanted to work with a new wave shape die cut and so I incorporated this shape for the information card, printed with white ink on a gorgeous cinnamon colour card. I opted for an almond-toned card-stock for the invitation with a sweet moon-shaped detail card to add another level of depth to the suite. I chose Colorplan Lilac for the envelope, to tie in the palette even closer.
I hope you love this beautiful shoot as much as I do...
