I was so thrilled when Maddie from Amara Collective reached out, asking me if I would like to get involved in a Joshua Tree elopement workshop. With an ethereal, boho vibe touted for the styling, I was hard pushed to say anything other than heck yes! I love the whole vibe of Joshua Tree weddings; the wild and wonderful textures, backdrops and colours, and the romanticism of desert weddings.
The shoot was small and intimate, focusing on the gorgeous iconography of Joshua Tree and the Air BnB, Seven Arches. The main focal point was a stunning tablescape, curated by Amara Collective and Cultivated by Faith, with rentals from Hostess Haven and Catalog Atelier. Photographer and lead workshop host Ashley Taylor spent time with the couple in and around the property, shooting some amazing portraits along the way.
Huge shout out to Opal Milk for the most gorgeous accessories!
For the stationery, I wanted to reflect the arches of the venue and so most of the cards were either arch or double-arched shape, with a sweet mini wave for the website details card I kept the tones natural and desert like to reflect the iconography of the surrounding landscape.
I hope you love this beautiful shoot as much as I do...
