When Maddie & Andrew got in touch about their wedding day at Powel Crosley Estate...little did I dream that it would be the boho modern wonderland I'd been dreaming of. With waterside views and Spanish style architecture scattered with palm trees, Powel Crosley Estate is a historical site in Sarasota, Florida...which provides a unique and stunning backdrop for any wedding.
Maddie spoke of her love for pampas, and how her eye had been drawn to shaped stationery with modern typography across her initial wedding planning. We played with muted colours in a neutral palette, opting for porcelain, stone and almond; a dream. Styling the day of stationery to suit the invitation suite, we chose a range of arch shapes, from traditional arches, half arches and semi-circles. Looking back over the stunning imagery by Catherine Coons, and it's clear to see we made the right paper choices...every shade fitting so well with the styling of the day as a whole.
It was an honour to be asked to design and curate the papergoods for Maddie & Andrew's big day, which was jam-packed full of love and laughter. Dancing in the moonlight, and journeying away from the party on a private yacht...the couple sailed into married life on a sea of pampas grass and stars...
